The TPS922054DRRR device is a 4A non-synchronous step-down LED driver with a wide input range of 4.5V to 65V. By integrating a low-side NMOS switch, the device not only drives leds, but also charges batteries with high power density and efficiency. The TPS922054 uses adaptive turn-off time current mode control and intelligent, precise sampling for inductive fast dimming (IFD) and high light accuracy. The switching frequency can be configured in the range of 100kHz to 2.2MHz and has an optional spread frequency function for better EMI performance.
