The TLC69652RTWR is a series of LCD locally dimmable backlight drivers that enable 2/4/8 time multiplexed control. Each device integrates a 16 constant current sink and a correspondingly sized SRAM for luminance storage, which are connected to each other in an easy serial topology via a two-wire serial interface, supporting up to 1024 devices with more than 32,000 locally dimmable zones. To optimise system efficiency, the device is equipped with an adaptive headroom voltage control scheme for direct DC/DC control, and only the FB pin of the last device in the serial chain should be connected to the DC/DC to simplify the system layout.
