The LP5866RKPR 6x18 LED matrix driver integrates 6 MOSFETs for up to 108 LED points or 36 RGB LEDs.The LP5866 supports both analogue dimming and PWM dimming methods. For analogue dimming, each LED point can be adjusted in 256 steps. For PWM dimming, an integrated 8-bit or 16-bit configurable PWM generator allows smooth dimming control with no audible noise. Each LED point can also be arbitrarily mapped to an 8-bit group PWM for dimming control.

The LP5866RKPR implements a full addressable SRAM to minimise data traffic. Integrated ghosting cancellation circuitry eliminates top and bottom ghosting. the LP5866 also supports LED open and short detection. 1MHz (max) I2C and 12MHz (max) SPI are available in the LP5866.
