The HMC608LC4 is a medium power amplifier with a high dynamic range GaAs pHEMT MMIC and adopts a pin-free "lead-free" SMT package. This amplifier offers two working modes: high-gain mode (Vpd pin short-circuited to ground); And the low-gain mode (with the Vpd pin remaining open). The following table shows the electrical specifications of the amplifier operating in the high-gain mode.

This amplifier has an operating range of 9.5 to 11.5 GHz, providing 29.5 dB gain, +27.5 dBm saturation power and 23% PAE (+5V supply voltage). The noise figure is 6 dB, while the output IP3 is +33 dBm. The DC blocking RF I/O is matched to 50 Ω, which is convenient to use. The HMC608LC4 does not require wire soldering and can be manufactured using surface mount technology.
