The LM70840RRXR is a family of low IQ, wide VIN synchronous buck converters designed for 4.5V to 80V input voltage ranges, delivering up to 8A output current with either a 3.3V/5V/12V fixed or adjustable output voltage.

The LM70840RRXR uses a peak current mode control architecture for simple loop compensation, fast transient response, and excellent load and line regulation. A pair of LM708x0 converters can be configured to operate in interleaved mode (parallel outputs) for accurate current sharing for applications requiring up to 16A output current.
