The TPS65250RHAT features a three-channel synchronous wide input voltage range high-efficiency buck converter. These converters are designed to simplify application design while providing designers with the flexibility to optimise usage according to the target application.
The TPS65250RHAT converter operates in 5V, 9V, 12V, and 15V systems and integrates power transistors. The output voltage can be set to any value between 0.8V and the input voltage minus 1V using an external resistor divider. Each converter features an enable pin to enable delayed start-up for sequencing requirements; a soft-start pin allows adjustment of soft-start time by selecting a soft-start capacitor; and a current limit (RLIMx) pin enables designers to adjust current limit by selecting an external resistor and optimise inductor selection. The COMP pin can be optimised using a simple RC compensation circuit to balance transient response and DC accuracy.
