The LM63440AFSQRYFRQ1 is an automotive-grade synchronous dc/dc buck converter with excellent efficiency and ultra-low IQ. The LM63440AFSQRYFRQ1 is an automotive-grade synchronous dc/dc buck converter with excellent efficiency and ultra-low IQ, featuring integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs capable of delivering up to 6A of output current over a wide input voltage range of 3V to 36V, supporting load-dropout transients up to 42V. The converter provides soft recovery from voltage drops, eliminating the need to overshoot the output.

The LM63440AFSQRYFRQ1 integrates a number of features for excellent EMI performance, including spread spectrum rate modulation, a low EMI enhanced HotRod QFN package to mitigate switching node ringing, and a symmetrical pin arrangement for ideal input capacitor placement. Switching frequency is settable between 200kHz and 2.2MHz to avoid sensitive bands, while efficiency or design size can be optimised according to application requirements.
