The TLC59731DR device is an easy-to-use 3-channel 50mA sink current LED driver. This single-wire, 600kbps serial interface (EasySet) provides a solution that greatly reduces wiring costs.The LED driver offers 8-bit pulse width modulation (PWM) resolution and a simple gamma correction feature. The device incorporates a 6MHz greyscale (GS) clock oscillator that enables a display repetition rate of 3.1kHz (typical). The driver also offers unrestricted cascading.

The output sink current can be set by each external resistor connected in series to the OUT terminals, and the TLC59731 has a built-in shunt regulator for higher VCC supply voltage applications.
