The NCIV9401R2 is a galvanic isolated high speed quad digital isolator with output enable. It uses ON Semiconductor's patented galvanic isolation off-chip capacitor technology and optimized IC design to achieve high insulation and noise immunity with high common-mode rejection and power supply rejection specifications. The thick ceramic substrate produces a capacitor approximately 25 times thicker than on-chip film capacitors and coreless transformers. Available in a 16-pin wide-body, small-form-factor package, the device combines the electrical performance benefits of a digital isolator with the safety and reliability of an insulator barrier larger than 0.5 mm.
