The MAX25249ATPAS is a highly efficient, four-output PMIC that integrates three DC-DC converters and one high PSRR LDO. All outputs are equipped with OV/UV monitoring. OUT1 is a 1A, high-voltage, synchronous step-down converter, powered by coaxial cable or car battery. The OUT2 and OUT3 low-voltage, synchronous step-down converters, powered by OUT1, offer an output voltage range of 0.8V to 3.9875V. The OUT2 can provide a current of 1.2A and is suitable for megapixel cameras and high-speed serializers. OUT3 supplies 0.5A current to power the imager, serial converter and the auxiliary power rail of the MCU. OUT4 is a low-voltage, low-noise, high-PSRR LDO, suitable for the power supply of imagers.

The MAX25249ATPAS features a 2.2MHz fixed-frequency PWM mode, which enables better noise immunity and load transient response. High operating frequencies allow the use of all-ceramic capacitors, minimizing external components. Programmable spread spectrum modulation suppresses electromagnetic radiation to the greatest extent. Compared with the discrete solution, the integrated low-RDS (ON) switch significantly enhances efficiency under heavy loads and simplifies the circuit layout.
