The MAX20840TAFE is a 40A, 2MHz, 2.7V to 16V integrated step-down switching regulator with PMBus, and its switching frequency can be configured from 500kHz to 2MHz, thus providing design optimization in terms of size and performance. In addition, the MAX20840TAFE adopts a fixed frequency and current mode control with internal compensation. This IC adopts an optional advanced modulation scheme (AMS) to provide higher fast load transient performance. The operation Settings and configurable functions can be selected by connecting the pin binding resistor from the PGM_ pin to ground or using the PMBus command.
