The TPS92691QPWPQ1 is a versatile LED controller that supports a range of boost or buck driver topologies. The device uses fixed-frequency peak current-mode control technology with programmable switching frequency, slope compensation, and soft-start timing. Compensation and soft-start timing, and it incorporates a high-voltage (65-V) rail-to-rail current-sense amplifier that directly measures LED current using either a high-side or low-voltage series-side sense resistor. The amplifier achieves low input dropout voltage over a junction temperature range of 25°C to 140°C and better than ±3% LED current accuracy. 140°C and an output common-mode voltage range of 0 to 60 V is available.
