Product Description

The TPS92663QPWPRQ1 LED Matrix Manager device provides individual pixel-level LED control through. The device consists of two substrings of three series-connected integrated switches to bypass individual LEDs. the single substring allows the device to accept single or multiple current sources. it also allows two switches to be connected in parallel to bypass high current LEDs. the main microcontroller can be used to control and manage the LEDs. It also allows two switches to be connected in parallel to bypass high current LEDs. a host microcontroller can be used to control and manage the TPS92663QPWPRQ1 device. Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) serial interface to control and manage the TPS92663QPWPRQ1 device. The 8-bit ADC on the TPS92663QPWPRQ1 device has two multiplexed inputs that can be used for system temperature compensation and for measuring staging values to enable LED staging and coding. An internal charge pump rail provides the gate drive voltage for the LED bypass switch. The low on-resistance (RDS(on) conduction losses and power dissipation of the bypass switch. Phase shift and pulse width are programmable for each LED in the string. The device uses internal registers to adjust the PWM frequency. Multiple devices can be synchronised. The switches have programmable slew rates for switching transitions during PWM dimming operation to reduce EMI issues. The device features open LED protection with programmable thresholds. The serial interface reports open LED and shorted LED faults.
