The ISO7421EQDWRQ1 provides UL-compliant dual galvanic isolation up to 2.5KVrms for 1 minute. This digital isolator has two isolation channels in a bidirectional configuration. Each isolated channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulated barrier. Used in conjunction with an isolated power supply, these devices prevent noise currents on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits.
