The VNH7040AYTR is an integrated H-bridge for driving DC motors in various automotive applications. The device integrates a dual monolithic high voltage side driver and two low voltage side switches. All switches are designed using ST's well-known and proven proprietary VIPower® M0 technology, which allows efficient integration of true power MOSFETs and intelligent signalling/protection circuits on the same chip. The packages are designed for harsh automotive environments, with exposed chip pads for improved heat dissipation. In addition, their fully symmetrical mechanical design allows for excellent manufacturability at the board level.
