The DRV8305NPHPR is a gate driver integrated circuit (IC) designed for three-phase motor drive applications. The device provides three high-precision, temperature-compensated half-bridge drivers, each capable of driving a high-side and low-side N-channel MOSFET.

The charge pump driver supports low-voltage operation at a 100% duty cycle. The gate driver can also handle load dump pulses up to 45V.

The gate driver uses automatic handshaking during switching to prevent current breakdown. The device precisely senses the VDS of the high-side and low-side MOSFETs to protect the external MOSFETs during overcurrent conditions.

The DRV8305NPHPR provides three shunt amplifiers for precise current measurement, supporting gain-adjustable bidirectional current sensing.

The DRV8305NPHPR features an integrated regulator and controller to meet the power requirements of a microcontroller (MCU) or additional systems.

SPI provides detailed fault reports and flexible parameter settings, such as gain options for the shunt amplifiers, gate driver slew rate control, and multiple protection features.
