The UCC5881QDFCRQ1 is a highly configurable isolated gate driver with adjustable drive strength, designed for driving high-power SiC MOSFETs and IGBTs in electric vehicle/hybrid vehicle applications. The device provides power transistor protection features such as overcurrent protection based on a shunt resistor, over-temperature protection (PTC, NTC, or diode), and DESAT detection, including selectable soft shutdown or two-stage soft shutdown during these faults. An integrated 10-bit ADC enables monitoring of up to two analogue inputs, VCC2, DESAT, and the gate driver temperature, enhancing system management.
