The STPMIC1DPQR power management IC is a wide fully integrated PMIC designed for use in highly integrated application processor based designs where low power consumption and high efficiency are required.The STPMIC1 PMIC integrates advanced low power features and is controlled by the host processor via I2C and IO interfaces. The PMCI integrates four synchronous buck converters which are optimised for ultra-high efficiency. The device also contains low dropout voltage (LDO) regulators to power the application processor as well as system peripherals such as DDR memory, flash memory and other system devices.
The STPMIC1DPQR's boost converter can drive up to three USB ports (two 500mA host USB and one 100mA USB OTG.) The STPMIC1's advanced bypass architecture smoothly regulates the VBUS of the USB ports on batteries as well as consumer 5V AC-DC adapters.
The STPMIC1DPQR power management IC is available in a WFQFN-44L package and has an ambient operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
