The LTC2971HY-3 is a dual-channel high-voltage power supply system manager, used for timing control, adjustment (servo), margin regulation, monitoring, fault management, and providing telemetry and fault logging. The DAC adopts a proprietary soft connection algorithm to minimize power supply disturbance. The monitoring function includes overvoltage and undervoltage for two power output channels and one input channel, as well as temperature threshold limits. Programmable fault response can disable power supply, configure retry operations and trigger the black box EEPROM storage of fault status and related telemetry.
The LTC2971HY-3 features the following key characteristics
Sequence, trim, margin, supervise, manage and record faults, as well as monitor the telemetry of the two power supplies
Monitor the input voltage from 0 V to 60 V, the input current within 1%, and accumulate energy
Manage an output of -60V to 60V or leave a fine adjustment margin of 0.25%
1.8V to 3.3V PMBus/SMBus/I2C compatible serial interface

Coordinate timing and fault management among multiple ADI PSM devices
