RAA270005KFP is a power management IC (PMIC) suitable for the RH850 automotive microcontroller series. The RAA270005KFP incorporates a boost DC-DC converter with an external MOSFET, a buck DC-DC converter serving as a pre-regulator, two low-dropout linear regulators (Ldos), and two linear trackers. The switching frequencies of the boost DC-DC converter and the buck DC-DC converter are 420kHz and 2.1MHz respectively. It simultaneously realizes multiple monitoring and diagnostic functions such as overvoltage and undervoltage detection of the voltage stabilizer and watchdog of the external microcontroller.

The input voltage of RAA270005KFP, the output of all regulators, and the internal analog voltage corresponding to the temperature can all be monitored through the ADC in the external microcontroller. Since the RAA270005KFP includes a power-on/power-off sequence controller, users can reduce the external components used to control the power-on/power-off sequence of the target microcontroller. The RAA270005KFP can also control the external backup power supply of the microcontroller.
