The LT3060ETS8-5 is a low-power, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator capable of operating within an input voltage range of 1.6V to 45V. The device provides an output current of 100mA and a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. A single external capacitor enables programmable low-noise reference performance and output soft-start functionality. The LT3060ETS8-5 has a quiescent current of only 40μA and achieves fast transient response using a minimum 2.2μF output capacitor. In shutdown mode, the quiescent current is less than 1μA, and the reference soft-start capacitor is reset.

The LT3060ETS8-5 regulator optimises stability and transient response using low ESR ceramic output capacitors. Unlike other regulators, this regulator does not require additional ESR.
