The TPS92664QPHPRQ1 16-channel LED Matrix Manager enables full dynamic adaptive lighting solutions by providing separate pixel-level LED controls. The device comprises a three-series integrated switch of four substrings for bypass connection of independent leds. The device can accept a single or multiple current sources through a separate substring.

TPS92664-Q1 has an internal oscillator. Internal oscillators can be shared with other system components via internal low noise LVDS transmitter and receiver modules. The multipoint Branch Universal Asynchronous Transceiver (UART) serial interface is compatible with TPS92665, TPS92667, TPS92662x, and TPS92663x devices. Internal EEPROM can store system default and calibration as well as lighting module data. An onboard ADC with a multiplexed input can sample all LED channels, IC bare chip temperature, and LED current detection. The ADC also samples dedicated ADC inputs for system temperature compensation, LED indexing, and coding.

The TPS92664-Q1 contains registers for programming the phase shift and pulse width of each LED in the lamp string, as well as for reporting LED open and short circuit failures and functional parameters.
