The HMC8193LC4 is a passive in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) single-chip microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) mixer that can be used as either a receiver mirror suppression mixer or a transmitter single-sideband converter, operating from 2.5 GHz to 8.5 GHz. The HMC8193LC4's intrinsic I/Q architecture provides excellent mirror suppression, eliminating the need for costly interference sideband filtering. The mixer also provides excellent LO-to-RF and LO-to-IF isolation and reduces the effects of LO leakage to ensure signal integrity.
As a passive mixer, the HMC8193LC4 does not require any DC power supply. It offers a lower noise figure than active mixers, ensuring excellent dynamic range for high-performance and precision applications.
The HMC8193LC4 is manufactured on a GaAs MESFET process using ADI's mixer units and 90-degree mixing devices.
