The ADRF6780ACPZN-CSL can directly convert the baseband I/Q input signal to radio frequency (RF), and it can also convert the carrier frequency single sideband (SSB) input from the real intermediate frequency (IF). The baseband input is in a high-resistance state, and usually a 100 Ω differential rear termination resistor connection is adopted for off-chip termination. The baseband I/Q input path can be disabled, and any modulated real IF signal within the range of 0.8 GHz to 3.5 GHz can be fed into the IF input path and up-converted to 5.9 GHz to 23.6 GHz, while suppressing typically useless sidebands better than 25 dBc. The Serial Port Interface (SPI) supports the adjustment of orthogonal phase adjustment to achieve better sideband suppression performance. Furthermore, the SPI interface can turn off the output power detector when power monitoring is not required to reduce power consumption.
