Product Description

The ADMV7320BCEZ is a fully integrated system-in-package (SiP) in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) upconverter that operates between a direct current to 2 GHz intermediate frequency (IF) input range and an 81 GHz to 86 GHz radio frequency (RF) output range. The kit uses a mirror-suppressed mixer driven by a 6× local oscillator (LO) multiplier. The mixer output is followed by a variable gain amplifier (VGA) and a power amplifier (PA), providing 33 dB (typical) conversion gain. Differential I and Q mixer inputs are provided and can be driven by differential I and Q baseband waveforms suitable for direct conversion applications. Alternatively, a single external 90° mixer and two external 180° mixers can be used to drive the input for single-ended applications.


The ADMV7320BCEZ is housed in a fully integrated surface-mount 50-pin 16.00 mm × 14.00 mm chip array small outline lead-free cavity (LGA_CAV) package. The ADMV7320BCEZ operates over a temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
