The MAX22444CAWE+ 4-channel digital isolator is an enhanced fast, low-power digital isolator. The device is designed to transfer digital signals between circuits with different power domains and consumes 0.74 mW per channel at 1 Mbps. The MAX22444 isolator offers unidirectional channel configurations to support any 4-channel design, including SPI, RS-485, and digital I/O applications. This digital isolation channel is always enabled and the default state of its output is selectable.
Available in data rates of 25Mbps or 200Mbps, the MAX22444CAWE+ isolators have independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side of the isolator and feature a 3-way configuration. These devices operate over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The MAX22444 4-channel digital isolators are available in a 16-pin wide-body SOIC package with 8 mm creepage and electrical clearance. Typical applications include isolated SPI interfaces, battery management, isolated RS-485/RS-422, and medical systems.
