MAX22190ATJ+ is an industrial digital input device conforming to IEC 61131-2 standards. The MAX22190 converts 8-way, 24V current-absorbing, industrial inputs into serial SPI compatible outputs that can be connected to 3V to 5.5V logic circuits. The current setting resistor allows the MAX22190 to be configured for Class 1, 2, or 3 inputs. Verify the field wiring of the access switch through the second threshold detector on each input. When the disconnection function is enabled, if the input current drops below the disconnection threshold for more than 20ms, the FAULT output concatenation register flag is triggered. Additional diagnostics that trigger faults include overheating, low power supply from 24V field power supply, loss of 24V field power supply, and CRC communication errors.
