The L99H92QF drives four external N-channel MOS transistors in a single H-bridge or dual independent half-bridge configuration for DC motor control in automotive applications. The device incorporates two freely configurable current-sense amplifiers. The device has a low-power mode (standby mode) with a current consumption of less than 5 µA, and a programmable gate drive current to minimise EMI. Each gate driver independently monitors its external MOSFET drain-source voltage to prevent failures.
