The VN7140AJTR is a high-side driver from STMicroelectronics featuring MultiSense analogue feedback functionality, specifically designed for automotive applications. The product is manufactured using STMicroelectronics' proprietary VIPower™ M0-7 technology and is packaged in a PowerSSO-16 package.

VN7140AJTR Features

Advanced protection features: Integrated load current limiting, active overload management, over-temperature shutdown, and configurable latch-off functionality.

Fault reset functionality: Unlocks the output or disables the latch function during a fault via the FaultRST pin.

Multi-Function Analogue Output Pins: Provides high-precision proportional load current sensing, power supply voltage feedback, and chip temperature sensing functions, while detecting overload, short circuit to ground, short circuit to VCC, and open-load conditions during shutdown.

Sensing Enable Pin: Allows disabling shutdown diagnostics in the module's low-power mode and sharing external sensing resistors between similar devices.

Automatic restart and status flag: Supports automatic restart functionality and status flag.
