Infineon's EiceDRIVER™ 1EDL8011, with its powerful gate current capability, enables fast turn-on/turn-off of high-side N-channel MOSFETs. In battery-powered applications, the 1EDL8011 is used to manage inrush current and provide fault protection. The driver is housed in a DSO-8 package and features overcurrent protection (OCP), adjustable current threshold, time delay, and a safe start-up mechanism with a flexible blanking period during MOSFET turn-on transitions.
