The MAX25500ATMA/V is a 4 x 24-channel modular matrix backlight driver for locally dimming automotive displays. Each integrated current output provides up to 72mA of light-emitting diode (LED) current absorption. The device can be programmed using the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and is very flexible. Programmable parameters include LED current, separate pulse width modulation (PWM) Settings, multiplexing ratio, and more.

The device has a high-speed SPI interface and can be controlled using a Daisy chain.
