The MAX20078ATE/VY is the industry's first auto-grade Buck controller with ultra-fast response and a pseudo-fixed frequency regulator. The device uses a proprietary average current mode control structure to regulate the inductor current. This control method does not require any control loop compensation and can maintain a near constant switching frequency. The inductive current is detected by detecting the current in the bottom synchronous n-channel MOSFET, and no high voltage current is required to be detected.
