The MAX20330EWA is an overvoltage controller with VBUS impedance detection. The device drives an external low RON path for devices that require a flexible and adjustable OVLO threshold. The detection feature detects soft shorts on VBUS and warns the user of potential connector overheating. Designed to drive single or dual back-to-back external N-channel MOSFETs with low RON (10mΩ max). An external TVS can be used to protect the device from high energy surges if necessary.
