The LM74900QRGERQ1 ideal diode controller drives and controls external back-to-back N-channel MOSFETs, simulating ideal diode rectifiers with power path on/off control and overcurrent and overvoltage protection. 3V to 65V wide input power supplies support protection and control of 12V and 24V automotive battery-powered ECUs. The device can withstand and protect loads from negative supply voltages as low as -65V.
