The LTC4229IUFD provides an ideal diode and Hot Swap™ functionality for a power rail by controlling two external N-channel MOSFETs. The LTC4229IUFD can adjust the forward voltage drop across the external MOSFET to ensure smooth current transfer in diode "or" applications. The ideal diode is quickly connected to reduce the load voltage drop during power switching.
