The HMC637BPM5E is a gallium arsenide (GaAs), single-chip microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), pseudo-crystalline high electron mobility transistor (pHEMT), cascode distributed power amplifier that is self-biased in normal operation and features IDQ-selectable bias control and gain adjustment. The amplifier operates over the DC to 6 GHz frequency range and provides 15 dB of small-signal gain, 27.5 dBm output power (1 dB of gain compression), 40 dBm typical output IP3, and 4 dB noise figure, and consumes 335 mA with a VDD 12 V supply voltage.
