The HMC536LP2E is a DC to 6 GHz GaAs MMIC T/R switch that is ideal for cellular, WiMAX and WiBro access points and user applications. The switch has a low insertion loss of 0.6 dB and a high input IP3 of +54 dBm. The switch provides excellent power handling performance at 6 GHz and P0.1dB compression points of +29 dBm (+3V) and +33 dBm (+ 5V control voltage), respectively. The on-chip circuit can achieve positive voltage control of 0/+3V or 0/+5V at very low DC current. The HMC536LP2(E) occupies an area of only 4 mm2, making it ideal for applications requiring small sizes.
