The HMC574AMS8ETR is a low-cost SPDT switch in an 8-pin MSOP package for transmit/receive applications requiring extremely low distortion performance at high incoming power levels. The device controls DC to 3 GHz signals and is particularly suitable for cellular /3G infrastructure, WiMAX and WiBro applications, with typical insertion losses of only 0.3 dB. The design provides 5 W processing performance at +8 V bias and a +63 dBm third-order crossover intercept. In the "Off" state, RF1 and RF2 reflect short circuits.
