The LP8866QRHBRQ1 is an automotive high efficiency LED driver with a boost controller. The six high precision current traps support automatic phase shift adjustment based on the number of channels used. LED brightness can be controlled globally via the I²C interface or PWM input.

The boost controller has adaptive output voltage control based on the LED current trap residual voltage. This feature reduces power consumption even further by regulating the boost voltage to the lowest level needed under all conditions. With a wide range of adjustable frequencies, the LP8866-Q1 avoids interference in the AM radio band.

The LP8866QRHBRQ1 supports built-in hybrid PWM dimming and analogue current dimming, which reduces EMI, extends LED life and improves total optical efficiency.
