The TMP411BDGKR device is a remote temperature sensor monitor with an integrated local temperature sensor. When used as a remote temperature sensor, transistors connected via diodes are typically low-cost, NPN or PNP type transistors or diodes, and are an essential component of microcontrollers, microprocessors, or FPGAs.
The remote accuracy for multiple device manufacturers is ±1°C, with no calibration required. The two-wire serial interface supports SMBus commands for write bytes, read bytes, send bytes, and receive bytes, enabling programming of alarm thresholds and reading of temperature data.
The TMP411BDGKR device includes the following features: series resistor compensation, programmable non-ideal factor, programmable resolution, programmable threshold limits, user-defined offset registers for maximum accuracy, minimum and maximum temperature monitors, wide remote temperature measurement range (up to 150°C), diode fault detection, and temperature alarm functionality.
