The ALED8102SXTTR is a monolithic, low-voltage, 8-way low-side channel. the ALED8102S guarantees up to 20 V output drive capability, allowing the user to daisy-chain multiple LEDs. at the output stage, eight regulated current sources provide constant current from 5 mA to 100 mA to drive the LEDs. the ALED8102S is equipped with a thermal management feature that protects the device by forcing it to shut down (typically: power down at 170 °C with a 15 °C lag restart). Thermal protection shuts down only the output channels. The operating supply voltage range is 3 V to 5.5 V. Output control is provided by four switching inputs for on/off switching and also for local dimming. Depending on the application, the outputs can be connected in parallel or left unconnected when not in use.
