The MAX15036ATE/V high-frequency DC-DC converters incorporate n-channel power MOSFETs to provide load currents up to 3A. The MAX15036ATE/V have built-in power MOSFETs that enable the design of non-synchronous buck or boost topology power supplies. the MAX15036ATE/V are intended for use in the design of synchronous buck topology power supplies. The devices operate from 4.5V to 5.5V or 5.5V to 23V input voltage operation and can be set to switch from 200kHz to 2.2MHz switching frequency. The voltage-mode architecture uses a peak switching current-limit scheme to provide stable operation up to 2.2MHz switching frequency. The MAX15036ATE/V includes a clock output to drive a second DC-DC converter clock output and a power-on reset (RESET) output. The MAX15036ATE/V includes a power good output and synchronous rectifier driver to drive an external low-side MOSFET in a buck converter configuration for high efficiency.
