The TPS62260DRVR device is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down DC/DC converter that delivers up to 600 mA of output current from a single lithium-ion battery, making it ideal for battery-powered applications such as mobile phones and other portable devices.

With a wide input voltage range of 2 V to 6 V, the device also supports two and three-cell alkaline batteries, and 3.3 V and 5 V input voltage rails.

The TPS62260DRVR operates at a fixed 2.25-MHz switching frequency and enters a power-save mode of operation at light load currents to maintain high efficiency over the entire load current range.
