The TPS25200DRVR is a 5V electronic fuse with high-precision current limiting and overvoltage clamping. This device provides reliable protection for the load and power supply during overvoltage and overcurrent events.

The TPS25200DRVR is an intelligent switch for load protection that can withstand an input voltage of 20V. If an incorrect voltage is applied to the input, the output can limit the voltage to 5.4V to protect the load. If the input voltage exceeds 7.6V, this device will disconnect the load to prevent damage to the device and/or load.

The TPS25200DRVR features an internal power switch with a resistance of 60mΩ, which can be used to protect the power supply, device, and load in various abnormal conditions. This device provides a continuous load current of up to 2.5A. The current limit value can be set within the range of 85mA to 2.9A using a resistor connected to ground. During an overload, the output current is limited to the current value set by RILIM. If a sustained overload occurs, the TPS25200DRVR will eventually enter thermal shutdown mode to prevent self-damage.
