The TPS25921ADR is a compact multifunction fuse with a full set of protection features. It has a wide operating voltage range, enabling control of many popular direct current (DC) buses. The excellent accuracy of ±2% current limiting at room temperature makes the TPS25921ADR ideal for a wide range of system protection applications.

It also features a variety of programmable functions such as overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and undervoltage protection to protect loads, power supplies, and devices. Threshold accuracy of 3% for undervoltage and overvoltage conditions ensures tight control of bus voltages without the need for monitoring circuitry. A fault flag output (FLT) is also provided for system status monitoring and downstream load control.

For hot-swappable boards, the TPS25921ADR provides inrush current control and programmable output ramp rates. To maximise design flexibility, the output ramp rate can be programmed using a capacitor at the soft-start (SS) pin.
