The IRSM836-044MA is a 4A, 250V integrated power module (IPM) specifically designed for high-efficiency home appliance motor drive applications, such as energy-saving fans and water pumps. IR's technology provides an extremely compact, high-performance AC motor driver in an isolated package. This advanced IPM combines IR's low RDS(on) trench MOSFET technology with industry-leading 3-phase high-voltage, durable drivers, all packaged in a compact PQFN package. The surface-mount package measures just 12x12mm and includes bootstrap functionality, making its compact footprint ideal for space-constrained applications. Integrated overcurrent protection, fault reporting, and undervoltage lockout functions provide high levels of protection and safe operation. The IRSM836-044MA operates without a heat sink.
