The LTM8046EY is an isolated flyback DC/DC μModule® (micro module) converter. The LTM8046EY features a rated isolation of 2kVAC. The package integrates a switch controller, power switches, transformer, and all supporting components. The LTM8046EY operates within an input voltage range of 3.1V to 31V and supports an output voltage range of 1.8V to 12V (set by a single resistor). A complete design can be achieved using only output, input, and bias capacitors. An optional capacitor can be used to set the soft-start period. 

The LTM8046EY is housed in a 9mm x 15mm x 4.92mm moulded resin ball grid array (BGA) package, suitable for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment. The LTM8046EY is available with SnPb (BGA) or RoHS-compliant terminal coatings.
