The ADW54012Z-0 is an 8 × 8 analog cross-point switch array. Arranged in the form of 8 columns and 8 rows, there are a total of 64 switch channels. This array is bidirectional. Rows and columns can be configured as either input or output. Each switch can be addressed and configured through an I2C-compatible interface. The ADW54012Z-0 supports three types of I2C interfaces: standard, full-speed and high-speed (3.4 MHz). Any combination of synchronous switches is allowed, and multiple switches can be updated simultaneously using the LDSW command. In addition, the RESET option can be used to reset or turn off all switch channels. When powered on, all switches are in the off position.
