The MAX20331EWL overvoltage protector (OVP) is a 3.5mm audio line protector designed to protect audio codecs and electronic components of portable devices. The MAX20331EWL can install a high-voltage protection OVP between the 3.5mm jack and the audio path electronic components to protect the device from damage caused by high-voltage conditions up to ±40V. The MAX20331EWL OVP adopts space-saving 9 solder balls, 0.4mm pitch and 1.23mm x 1.23mm wafer-level package (WLP). The extended operating temperature range of these OVPs is from -40°C to 85°C. Typical applications include smart phones and tablets.
