The DAC7760IRHAR is a 12-bit, single-channel, programmable current/voltage output digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) for 4mA to 20mA current loop applications. The device is programmable to provide a current output with a range of 4-20mA, 0-20mA, or 0-24mA, or as a voltage output with a range of 0V to 5V, 0V to 10V, ±5V, or ±10V, up to 10% over the range (0V to 5.5V, 0V to 11V, ±5.5V, or ±11V). The current and voltage outputs can be enabled simultaneously and are controlled by the same data register.
